I enjoyed reading Mike McGrath for many years while he was the editor of Organic Gardening and his book is very informative.

I “must have” for any serious gardener.

This book is fun to read and has many useful ideas that would be practical to try. One can pick it up and read any chapter at random. Illustrations are simple line-drawings; in comparison, I have other garden books that are lavishly illustrated with color photographs, but lacking in actual informative text.

Gets three stars cause of the content, but book was seriously used and really did not know this when I bought it..Book is marked up everywhere inside with ink pen. Also found a ripped page with no other piece…Oh well, info is still good so 3 stars…Wish this was in the description
