At District Gardens, we often say that gardening is not a science because gardening goes back hundreds of years ago where science was not the main principle to harvest the best crops. Set the clock to this century, many of the old principles apply. At District Gardens, we want to bring in large part the art of gardening under all forms despite the challenges Mother Nature brings to us through climate changing.

We’re located in Ontario, Canada so this means our gardening season is not as long as our friends in the South which gives us the opportunity to provide valuable gardening information for all seasons.
