Beginner or better, this book will pay for itself by the time you’ve reached the half way mark in the gardeners calendar.
Well explained, easy to follow guides and images to enable successful propagation of many shrubs, roses, annual and perennial plants from your own current stock. The author even provides additional hints and tips from her years of experience throughout the book, saving you time and money through trial and error loss and unsuccessful propagation, and maintenance of your plants The endearing way Anya writes reads as though she’s actually there with you, guiding you to garden success.

I haven’t purchased a garden book in over 20 years. But I saw a reel on social media by Anya Lautenbach and realized I was actually watching my “garden soul mate” and rushed to buy the book. I hadn’t read even 3 pages when I knew my first impression was spot-on. The first line of chapter 1 is “over the years, I have come to realize that the process of creating a garden is even more enjoyable and rewarding than the result itself”. That is the overriding joy of having a garden to me. It is ever changing, ever evolving and never complete. Every morning I wake up my garden it an opportunity to “grow”, spirtually, emotionally, physically, mentally. This author feels the same. I bought the book to learn how to propagate plants, primarily, and within minutes I was informed why I love my garden so much! I’ve been gardening over 60 years, and her approach is so fresh and full of discovery; not things I find on the subject much at my age. THANK YOU ANYA LAUTENBACH!!

I like Anya’s online content. Book is nice but basic. Encourages you to look at your spaces and use what you have. I like that emphasis. Am curious about her second book.
