This book has the bones to be good, but misses on a couple counts. First, old eyes are challenged by so much text printed in medium gray font on a light gray background. Old eyes need contrast. Form SHOULD follow function. Second, the photos are predominantly of the blooms, without an overall look at the plant. If I’m shopping for a plant I need to see the overall view of the critter, not a macro shot of a flower. Like I said, a misse dopportunity. Some decent info in the book, especially if you have fighter pilot’s eyes. Not recommended.
