I had been looking forward to this book for ages and it did not disappoint. Not only does this have excellent advice for both novice and advanced kitchen gardeners, it has fantastic recipes and is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully put together. From breaking down how to grow common types of vegetables, herbs, and flowers in kitchen gardens to giving advanced tips on how to manage pests and growing spaces this book has a bit of everything. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend (and will be buying several copies for friends).

Luay’s Seed to Table is a jaw-dropping compilation of years of experimentation, expertise, and hard work. At every page turn, I let out a gasp of excitement – stunning photos and new inspiring ways of getting to know our food better. Masterful integration of multimedia elements takes the book up another notch.
For anyone serious about eating locally and knowing where our food comes from, this is a MUST have. Luay’s first book makes me wonder, what will the next one entail?!👀

New gardener? Amateur cook? A bit of both? This book will teach you how to choose varieties best suited for your climate, different growing methods, how to best care for your garden before, during and after the growing season and lastly, how to prepare or preserve your harvests.
This book is informative with lots of details yet the information provided is not heavy. The photos are beautiful and recipes easy to follow. Having a QR code that brings you straight to the website is a very nice touch. This will be on my holiday gift list. Would highly recommend!

I love this book so much. The garden advice is practical, down to earth, and uses organic practices. Any of the seasonal recipes I have tried so far have been easy and delicious. The roasted tomato herb sauce is just so good that I have already made it twice. I was delighted to see that most or all of the recipes have vegan options, which was incredibly thoughtful and forward thinking of the author. The photography in the book is so gorgeous that I have actually reached out to the author to find out if he has considered selling prints. I hope Luay has a second book planned!

This beautiful book has been living on my coffee table (when it’s not getting splattered in the kitchen) since I received it – it’s not only packed with edible garden knowledge from seed starting to harvesting, the recipes inside have become go-tos for my own summer garden produce. Would make a fabulous gift for a budding small space gardener, a food photography fan, or a home chef inspired to eat seasonally. I love this book!

I’m delighted with this book and have already recommended it to others. This book covers so much ground and truly lives up to it’s name ” Seed to table”. From chapters on how to grow food, cook that food and then preserve that food – Luay guides you through the whole process. I’m a huge fan of his work both on instagram and his course, so I knew that this book would be amazing but it even went beyond my expectations. I’m watching my seedlings grow in anticipation so that I can cook them up using recipes from the book. Definitely recommend.

I loved finding a gardening book that’s not geared to the southern climates (I’m in Northern Ontario)! I found it a lovely resource that I can refer back to throughout the growing season. I’m learning a lot about growing food and I learned a lot of specifics from this book. The recipes based around the garden and different preserving methods are excellent. The photography is beautiful and it is well organized by vegetable type, planning, growing, cooking, and preserving. I’m inspired to grow more (and plan more for next year).

I got this book because I was interested in the recipes. I’m an experienced gardener and was pleasantly surprised that there was a lot of information I didn’t know about. The book is beautiful and has simple, approachable recipes. I can’t wait to use my garden harvests to make recipes
