This is the review of the Land Guard 2x2x2 ft Galvanized Raised Garden Bed Kit.

This is the silver one. A couple of years ago, I transitioned to these galvanized raised beds. They are so versatile and can grow a good amount of food: fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

These beds are super easy to put together and come with all the nuts and bolts you’ll need to put them together. You’ll just need to supply your own screwdriver. It took me about 30 minutes to put one together. And it only took me that long because the panels feel flimsy until you screw them in, so it was hard for me to control them until I got the screws in. I ordered another one of these in a different color and was able to put it together, with the help of my granddaughter, and it only took about10 minutes.

There are a lot of screws to apply, so bring your patience. However, it is not hard at all.

If I had to state one downfall of these types of beds, this one in particular, is that you’ll use a lot of dirt to fill them, if that is what you’re doing. However, you can condition the dirt and use it season after season.

Another concern is that although they are durable, they may rust.

With some of these beds, I did not use much dirt, because I just wanted them to control crops that were in that area and that were already planted.

These are also great for those who want to plant fruits and vegetables and have a small space, or who cannot grow in the ground. I highly recommend these.

Assembly Efficiency: While it takes about 30 minutes solo due to the “flimsy” feel of unbolted panels, it’s a quick 10-minute job with a partner.

Hardware: Includes all nuts/bolts, but requires your own screwdriver. Note: There are quite a few screws, so patience is key!

Soil Management: Due to the 2-foot depth, they require a lot of soil. However, they are also effective as “crop corrals” over existing plants without needing a full fill.

New Durability Concern: While they are generally sturdy, you noted a potential concern for rust over time.

Versatility: Excellent for fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers—especially for gardeners with limited space or poor ground soil.

I have purchased a lot of rings made out of the same material as this. This product was extremely cheaply made. It dents, it bends, where all the other ones I have purchased have not, a true disappointment.
