THis is an awesome, large and useful planter. I love it. My only caveat is that it is WORK TO ASSEMBLE. It has many parts and pieces, so be prepared for that. The other thing is that it is bottomless. Maybe other buyers know to expect that? But for me it was a sticky problem because I wanted to use this on a deck without marring the surface. I can find a place in the yard, but I am disappointed I didn’t plan for that. The metal is thick and quality, and the powder coating substantial. Once made, this will last for years.

This 24 inch tall galvanized raised garden bed is a great addition to my garden setup, and I am really looking forward to using it this spring. The oval shape and 4×2 footprint are a nice size for a variety of plants without taking up too much space, and the extra depth is ideal for vegetables and plants with deeper root systems.
The galvanized metal feels solid and well made, with smooth edges that make assembly and placement easy. It feels durable enough to handle outdoor conditions season after season, which is important for a permanent garden feature. I also appreciate the height, since it should reduce bending and make planting, watering, and maintenance much more comfortable.
Overall, this raised bed checks all the boxes for quality, functionality, and usefulness. It feels thoughtfully designed and sturdy, and I am confident it will perform well once planting season arrives.

I absolutely love this planting bed ! A lot of the fun is assembling it, but once that’s done, you have a 2ft deep planting bed that is perfect for adding rotting hardwood logs at the very bottom ( aka Hügelkultur ), which I’ve found builds great soil over time. This bed is 2ft wide, making it easy to access from any side, and 4ft long which allows plenty of growing area for most everything. The green color fits into the landscape nicely, and doesn’t cause an eyesore to you, or the local wildlife, which is a BIG plus. I really loved the finishing touch though, which is a soft rubber strip to place around the rim, which can be quite sharp. Once the bed is assembled, and filled, it’s the perfect height for folks like myself, who don’t want a sore back from bending over constantly. This bed is a bargain at this price, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Once put together, these are sturdy and should serve my purposes okay. However, I purchased four of these in total, and every one of them had quality control issues with the parts. Inside the planter, there are stabilizing rods that screw into the walls of the planter. Each and every one of the four beds I bought had an issue with at least one of these stabilizing rods. The thread pattern is poorly manufactured, and the locker does not screw down well to the same length on each rod.
There are zero extras included, which means you have to force the sides of the planter outward to accommodate the inconsistent width of the stabilizers. I fear that over time, this inability to cinch the stabilizers all the way down will be an issue. For some reason, there are lots of extra screws and wing nuts for the rest of the build though. On one of the planters, the included “wrench” is cut poorly, making the opening too large to be of use in assembling the bed.
Assembling these is fairly straight forward, but each panel has plastic shrink film on it, which is a total pain to remove.
I suppose that at this price point (~$40 at the time of my purchase), I cannot expect a premium product, however, I do expect basic functionality and buildability. I feel that I got an okay value for the price I paid. Once built, the beds do look lovely, they feel reasonably sturdy, the material does not feel particularly thin. Hopefully I will get many years of use out of them.

The bed was delivered on time and all the pieces were there. It was easy to put together and it looks really great. Filled it up with a mixture of topsoil and compost over the weekend – The bottom layer I put leaves and pine needles so it didn’t have to have so much dirt in it, and the bed started to bow out on one side and bow in on the other . a little concerned about what might happen when it starts to rain
