Update— I also got a “like new” 8×2 in navy for a great price. It had a few scratches, but honestly, all beds like this are scratched some unless you get Vego brand. I was hoping to make a shorter, wider rectangle, but the corners don’t work way. I was able to make this trapezoid that is 4 ft deep, which actually works great for me bc I always set a few tropical plants here during the summer.
Original— I got this 8×2 to put next to my olive green Vego garden beds. The color is very close. It’s slightly more saturated and yellow, but I think it just looks like the others have faded a bit. It seems like good quality. There’s no protective strip for the top edge, but it doesn’t seem overly sharp. I got this shorter bed since I’m not worried about voles or rabbits wanting what I’m going to plant in there.
I’m still working in the area, But this is a comparison picture. This bed is between the circles. The Vego garden beds are the 4 to the left.

Bought these planters for the deck of my 89 year old Mother so she could have her own little garden without bending over. These are perfect. They are very sturdy and nice looking. She is so excited now and looking at all the seeds she has. These arrived fast and in excellent condition. I would (and probably will) purchase again. Easy to assemble.

I liked the beds well enough. I appreciated the thickness and I have filled them with dirt so they are ready to plant. They look nice and I am excited to plant them. But when people say it’s a huge pain to remove the plastic coating….. IT IS TERRIBLE! Think of it like finding the end on the box tape roll over and over for 45 min. I was so glad my ADD father was and hour late at coming over to help put them together because he would not have had the patience to remove the plastic film and would have gone crazy. I want the boxes to match so I will have to buy more (sigh….) and I am not looking forward to the plastic process again. All other details with the product were fine. I’m sure the plastic is on there for protection of the finish but it is a severe pain in the A$$.

I can not believe Al the “great reviews” here for this. The color is nice but as far as durability, it’s hard to say when the box was sorta beat up and it came WITH OUT ANY instructions at al!!!!!!!
Very disappointing as to try to figure this out and not bend the damn thing up.
Looks like it may go back in pieces WITHOUT any Istructions it did NOT come with.

Very easy assembly and esp useful if your yard is like ours (hard clay) and your love of gardening is is challenged by physical limitations. Got fall 2024 for use in 2025.
Raised bed gardening was new to me
First year grew tomatoes, potatoes, and this was not the best use of space

The metal itself is not quite as thick as those sold on Epic Gardening or Vego, but it’s a good price and still sturdy enough without having to pay double. I have a total of 8 of these, with 2 more going in this Spring. 4 I left open as is, and the other 4 I installed cattle panel (1 panel cut in 1/2 covers 2 beds) on posts, so that I can grow climbing crops like cucumbers, melons and tomatoes. They are perfect in terms of the width and being able to access the plants from both sides.
