So wonderful to receive my copy! Lots of great, regenerative information, written in an intelligent, articulate manner, accessible to beginners yet still packed with useful tidbits for the seasoned gardener. The illustrations are lovely and inspiring with a variety of useful diagrams interspersed. A fun, informative, and enjoyable read!

I had followed Jamie on Instagram for over a year and when I saw his book coming out I had to get it. He’s wonderful to listen to and his gardens are absolutely inspiring. (He’s also very easy on the eyes.) The book is full of inspiring, helpful hints, lovely for a beginning gardener or someone who enjoys reading about how to prep spaces and appreciate edible plants and ‘weeds.’ Not super advanced or technical, more of a Sunday read that gives helpful, down to earth advice.

The actual content of this book is well written and informative. The paper and pictures are a different story. I personally, feel that the paper could have been a better quality for durability and the pictures made a bit glossier. As it is, the pictures don’t really stand out and were not given the best effort for looks. But this is the authors first book, and as an information book, it is well done. It is still a good addition to a gardening library.
